What a local gem! We loved this place and it had excellent wine selections. Hope to be back very soon!
The wine selection is one of the best. Karen was great. She took the time to explain each drink, where they came from and her take on taste. Will come back, many times
Fun and relaxed wine shop with complimentary tastings! Didn't get any food this visit, but looking forward to next time!
I just want to preface that our direct service and food/wine was fantastic. But one particular staff member left a bad taste in our mouth. We had been looking forward to visiting for a while, especially since my mom is in town. Initially, we had a great experience—Tracy was fantastic and made us feel welcome. However, things took a turn when a young staff member approached us about an hour before closing. Despite having just purchased food , a tasting for each person in our party, and ended up buying several bottles of wine, she insisted we box our food to go she insisted on clearing our table while we were still enjoying our tasting. When we declined, she seemed frustrated and left in a huff. About 20 minutes before closing, we overheard her loudly expressing her eagerness to leave emphasizing the time they close which felt directed at us. This was not only unprofessional but also made us uncomfortable. Another staff member even hushed her and ultimately had to send her back of house, indicating that her behavior was inappropriate. We had confirmed their closing time as 8:00 PM earlier in the night so we had planned our visit accordingly. Up until that point, we were having a wonderful time, but this interaction left us feeling unwelcome. While we appreciated Tracy’s efforts, this experience has made us hesitant about returning.
This place is amazing! Atmosphere gives off great vibes. The staff is friendly and efficient. The sandwiches are huge, cheese slaw is to die for, Pimento Cheese, salads and I didn't even mention the charcuterie boards, which are beautiful and delicious. Lastly, wine is very reasonable and tasty! Now there is an outdoor courtyard for a cool outside vibe.
One of my favorite local spots. Always delightful environment & service. The Jolly Grape carries a robust selection of wines- a huge bonus is the addition of their new food menu!! Highly recommend the salads, chartuterie boards & cheese slaw. Enjoy a $10 tasting or buy a bottle to enjoy there with a bite. You won't be disappointed.
Always a good time. Did not get any food but wine tasting is always fun and everyone is friendly!
Lovely experience wine tasting with the girls here. Hannah was very knowledgeable. She took time to describe everything and educate us. Definitely a great local experience. The atmosphere is very zen. We did get alittle rowdy at the end, a group of girls and a bottle of wine each deep. They close at 11 so it’s definitely more of a conversation place than a party spot.
